Hi, I'm Detective Cobalt.... Well, I'm a zombie now, but that's besides the point. I'm taking it upon myself to leave these notes so that others can fix this mess. If I tried, Tophet would have my head. Speaking of Tophet, she's an "Executable"... Which are, surprisingly, definitely NOT executable. She's torturing the ones of this realm to get money in the megaverse. Here's a physical description so you can avoid her!:
She looks like Sonic, whom I assume was her first victim. But she can take the forms of all her victims. Personally, I died to her when she was in Silver's form. The main differences from their living forms are:
1. Rot on the chest, eyes, and limbs.
2. Extremely dilated eyes.
3. Yellowed teeth.
4. Extreme eye bags.
These four factors are all pretty significant (except the yellowed teeth, of course, they could just be depressed or something). I would recommend screaming for help at first if you're in a heavily populated area. But that's a stretch in a rural place. So, if you're alone, run away and hide. Try to avoid any encounter. Make sure to call emergency services, too, since they can help stall Tophet and other executables as you get away.

First Story: Rogue
Rogue was in Casino Night Zone. She was partying, drinking, and having a good time. But then there was a rattle—no one thought of it. Not a single person got up, except Sonic. But Sonic was just the skin. W-... Worn tight by it like a suit. And it had ill intent. It had the most ill intent we could never comprehend. Rogue was long out of the picture when it struck. She was fortunate enough to have the intelligence for about 4 hours of peace. If only she had the foresight sooner.
Due to the amount of wine she drank, she was full-on drunk. Due to this intoxication, she lost her coordination in her flight, and she fell straight into a lava pit in Hill Top Zone Act 1. She bu-.... burned alive, with nothing she could do.
Second Story: Silver
Silver had seen a single word about the location where Rogue died: Hill. Naturally, he assumed it meant Green Hill Zone. That's where practically everything happens. If only he hadn't assumed so early.
Silver went to the past, to Green Hill Zone. Act 3, specifically. The sky was orange, though. That's... weird, to say the least. It's the middle of the day! He saw that all the badniks were smashed open as well. Silver kept walking, though, as he wanted to find out what went wrong. At the end of the act, though, there was a crack in the ground. Silver had reached it, exhausted but still there. And out of the crack, giant maggots began crawling out. They forced Silver stuck, and one... crawled inside of him, for lack of better words, killing him in the process.
Now, Silver was nothing but a puppet, being controlled by a parasite living inside him like a onesie.
Third Story: Sonic
While we don't have the whole gist of what happened, an acquaintance of mine interviewed Tails the Fox for information. We will show some of the interrogation now:
"So, where did you find Sonic?"
"In Aquatic Ruin Zone. Act 2, to be specific. Before then, he said something about a creature in the water."
"When you found him like that, what did you do?"
"He screamed for me to go with the last bit of power he had. So, I did. I barely made it out."
"Where did you go?"
"A dingy hotel on the South Island. Spring Yard is pretty safe, with its guards around the entire city and all."
"Who were the people with you around when you found Sonic?"
"Knuckles and Amy were with me. Amy and I got out, but Knux... wasn't so lucky."
"Why did Sonic turn?"
"I don't know. I have footage, and Eggman's currently analyzing it, but I haven't gotten to him yet. I will after this interrogation, though."
"What happened when you found Sonic?"
"I saw him holding his head. He seemed like a zombie. Truly horrific."
"Okay. Alright. Thank you kindly, Mr. Prowler. You can leave now."
